WHAT ARE OUR MEANS OF FUNDING?
GRIS-Montréal is recognized as a registered Canadian charitable organization and can therefore receive bequests and individual donations for which tax receipts are issued. Donations from individuals, schools and private companies make up the largest part of the organization’s annual budget. Le ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux du Québec also gives funds to help with the organization’s operations. Several unions play a financial role in GRIS-Montréal’s mission, as well as provincial and federal Members of Parliament. Lastly, GRIS-Montréal Members also generously donate financial support to the organization through personal donations, as well as by organizing fundraising events.
