Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to be surrounded by mentors and allies who have given me the tools to assert myself and flourish. Not everyone is so lucky. In today's social climate, where prejudice and intolerance toward 2SLGBTQI+ people are all too common, there is still much work to be done.
